Worn with a bevor usually, a sallet covers the entire head. It is distinguished by a long, sometimes pointed tail that extends to cover the back of the neck and by a single, long eye-slit. It has no ventilation holes as there is a gap where the helm and bevor meet.
Specifications:
" It is made of hand-forged 18 gauge, low carbon mild steel. Can be made in 14 gauge on request.
